Frequently Asked Questions

What are deep links?

Deep links allow you to link directly to specific screens or content within your mobile app, providing a seamless user experience.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

What platforms are supported?

We support both iOS Universal Links and Android App Links, covering all major mobile platforms.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial with full access to all features so you can test our platform. After the trial, you'll need to subscribe to one of our paid plans starting at $5.99/month.

Do I need to add an SDK to my app?

No. DeepTap works through native OS protocols (iOS Universal Links and Android App Links) and hosts your configuration files for you. Your app binary stays small — nothing to integrate or maintain.

Why DeepTap instead of a free deep-linking tool?

Most free tools either require their SDK in your app or bundle marketing-attribution features (and pricing) you don't need. DeepTap hosts your native config files (apple-app-site-association, assetlinks.json) and handles routing server-side — no SDK, no MMP bloat. If you need full cross-network ad attribution, a platform like Branch or AppsFlyer fits better; DeepTap is for developers who just want native deep links that work.

How does deferred deep linking work, and how accurate is it?

When someone clicks a link without your app installed, DeepTap stores the destination and matches it to the install using a server-side fingerprint (IP + user agent) — no SDK required. Matching is most reliable when the click and first launch happen on the same network. In the rare case a user switches networks between clicking and installing, the link still opens your app — just without the saved context.
